Every living being in the world has a set of needs that must be fulfilled in order to survive and live on. For animals, this is the fact that each must be able to consume and eat different living beings in order to survive. This kind of thing is a basic biological function as energy is something that all organism need.

There are reasons as to why animals eat, but people have their reasons as well. For animals, it is as simple as breathing. Many of these creatures were given the tools to consume the things that they were meant to. Humans on the other hand, have been eating different kinds of things for the past thousands of years, leading to problems that would need having nutrition coach online today.

When humanity first came into being, the main food source were various kinds of vegetables and different animals. In a time where humans have not learned to use weapons and tools yet, man had to hunt smaller creatures and farm to gain food. As time progressed, the method and tools used for hunting improved.

Since man evolved from ape, humans are omnivores. This means that men are allowed to eat both plants and meat. Thanks to this diverse biology, humans have been able to live on different food sources for a very long time. But one thing helped the act of eating something for people become more pleasurable.

One of the many discoveries that could improve that condition of eating was fire. When first learned how to harness and create it from the starts, they discovered a way to make the meat that was eaten taste much better. Fire was the innovator for the act of cooking things as it enabled man to do so.

With cooking being discovered, humanity sought more something more. In this search, the salt and sugar were made and discovered. Both of these things were considered very valuable during the middle ages. The reason for this was because it was so rare to find and not very abundant in the western world.

But one that has become very popular is sugar. Going back to the middle ages, sugar was considered to be a treasure. This additive was so popular because of new and tasty sweet things were. Sugar was important in creating cakes and other sorts of pastry that the nobles loved due to its unique taste.

Due to the increased consumption of sugar, humans have been getting fatter. In the middle ages, having some weight would usually be associated with wealth and power. The reason for this is because only noblemen could afford an excessive amount of food. The middle class or poor classes could only afford to eat three meals a day and only little food.

Due to its role in making people fat, many have cut sugar out from their diet. A nutrition coach would often recommend not having it as a part of a diet due to its ill effects. It does not provide the body with any form of good nutrition, only bad ones. Part of losing weight is to cut this out from a diet.
