What San Diego Psychics Say They Can And Cannot Do

By Ronald Turner

Whether you are a believer or not, most of us are fascinated by people who claim to know things about us that we haven't told them or be in contact with loved ones who have passed on. We have the same interest in magicians. Even though we may be convinced that we're being tricked, their amazing acts still receive enthusiastic applause. San Diego psychics, and others, are often frustrated by common misconceptions about what they can and cannot do.

They will argue that when we assume that everyone who says they are psychically gifted has the same talents or strengths. Just as doctors and lawyers have areas they specialize in, because these areas are where their interests and talents lie, so do psychics have specialties or certain specific gifts.

You probably know any number of old superstitions and sayings that people have repeated and handed down from generation to generation. There are a great many individuals who actually believe that black cats really are bad luck. Hanging a horseshoe over a door is more than a decorative statement to some. We may not know whether to trust a psychic, but we are intrigued by the possibility that they have superior insight.

This insight might take the form of energy they say they can sense. It may be difficult to explain to someone without the gift, but these clairvoyants will insist they are in the presence of someone who has passed. That person may be trying to communicate something to a loved one who either feels some guilt or responsibility toward the departed or has been unable to let go of the grief they feel.

Psychics say that we make a mistake assuming they can read our minds. Many of these mentalists have learned how to tap into our emotions and feelings so that it seems as though they know what is going through our heads, but it is not literally true. They warn that people who try to convince you of their mind reading skills should be viewed with skepticism.

Predicting the future is not something a true psychic can really do. They admit that the future has too many variables and unexpected twists and turns to make that possible. Most of us are aware that crossing a gypsy fortune teller's palm with silver is not going get us anything but a fantastical story.

As with most people who have specific talents, some are just more gifted than others. One psychic may develop a very strong of the energy in the atmosphere while another has no particular feeling about it. That psychic's strength may lie in the ability to see and hear things internally.

A lot of people are hungry to know what is going to happen in the future or to be assured that a loved one is happy, content, and looking out for him or her. These are folks that can be deceived by charlatans who only want their money. San Diego, CA psychics believe they have special gifts and the ability to help people with their problems.
