Shoe Elevation Helps People See Eye To Eye

By Eric Moore

There are many people in this world who are shorter than average height, and this can create situations for them which are socially awkward. Grown men are notorious for teasing their shorter counterparts well past the age of grammar school, and even short women have been known to reject a short man. These men, and even women, have a secret weapon against this sort of prejudice now that they can be shod with shoe elevation under their feet.

Platform shoes are very popular with younger people, and kids love how it makes them taller than everyone else in the hall. Achieving height with such a style does not have to be obvious to the world at large, however. These days men and women both can get every style from leather to rubber boots, with the elevators actually made as part of the shoes.

In the fashion world of women, high heels have returned higher, sturdier, and better. Women of normal height often find they are as tall as most men when wearing a good pair of heels. In this way a woman might seem almost larger than life, and this allows her to feel more confident when working alongside men in the corporate world.

It is the insole of these shoes which are elevated rather than the bottoms. Through some clever design, what appears to be a normal heel and sole, fitted to the outer shell of leather or pleather, and put together in such a way that it hides its secret. They are available in most every size imaginable, for men or women, and can be sought from merchants from the Amazon warehouses to companies that seem to be hiding out in Russia.

With this concealed elevation placed inside the shoes, a greater result can be achieved than with any other elevating option. In fact, we are talking about two to four inches, seven to ten centimeters, in the majority of the styles analyzed. This is a huge difference for anyone who is just under or just above five feet, making many men more confident when it comes to first encounters with women.

Inserts are a tried and true method of getting another inch or two instantly. However, because they consume a great deal of the space within the shoes, they can be awkwardly uncomfortable to wear over time. In fact, it is not uncommon for them to slip off since the tops of the shoes come up much lower on the ankle when inserts are being worn.

Lifts can also be attached to the bottoms of regular shoes, elevating them a small amount just like a boot heel. They do not require specialized shoes, are affordable, and can be snapped on in a jiffy. They are typically not very rugged and most wearers put them on indoor dress shoes, however, they also do not take up room inside of shoes so they will not cause discomfort.

There are many people who have uneven legs. If special ordered, most any style can be manufactured with one made in the traditional way while the other has the concealed elevator within. In this way, one who suffers from such an injury can now wear a truly matching pair of shoes that will comfortably conceal his or her situation.
