Millennial often say that you only live once, thus, live a kind of life you want. However, we cannot ignore our priorities to our families, community and to our nation. Even if we try to create a path for ourselves, there are people and responsibilities that we find hard to overlooked.

Currently, people participate in career activities to get good salary and help live a kind of life they want for themselves and for their loved ones. While we recognize the essence of job, taking it too seriously might not do good to our lives and health. To achieve a well balanced career and life, we have presented some key pointers and tips that can help you one day.

Learn how to say no. Sometimes, the higher ups might be demanding, complaining and reprimanding you because of your previous actions. All these mental and emotional pressure can debase you. As a result, you might often found yourself anxious and stress. When you are the type that always nods in agreement, consider doing the opposite. It might help you gain self confidence sometimes.

Work real smart, but not quite hard. Working a lot can be demanding, both in mind and body. Apparently, stress might not just make you look older, but it can affect your focus and way of thinking as well. Eventually, you might find yourself overly panicking and worrying about things all over again, making some jobs to be more complicated and greatly compromised.

Avoid aiming for perfection. Rather than that, execute every task with almost near precision. Just remember that holding too much on everything might stir frustration. Aiming for perfection is certainly not good and would simply waste your resources and time. You should develop a habit of accepting some mistakes, especially if they seem trivial and do not cause a huge mess.

Create your own rules and live with them. Yes, its important to follow corporate rules. But strictly adhering to them would not help to draw a smile on your face. In fact, you might be stressed out by following every policy. You have to rely on your intuition and try not to please everybody. Be happy by yourself and certainly you might no longer feel that you are working anymore.

If the work is too stressful and demanding, then just quit. There are pros and cons of working on the corporate world. But when you are unhappy and always stressed, then consider searching for another environment. There are other companies that can provide you with better working benefits and privileges that you need to improve your career in the long run.

Find time to bond with some family members. While its completely excellent to allocate some time alongside with some co workers and friends, spend time with your family as well. You might need their presence to help you get through everything, especially with work related problems.

Enjoy everything. Despite the pressure and the challenge, find time to be happy. Learn to get along and communicate well with others. Lastly, do not take things too seriously.
