You should use sugar in low quantities and consider the option of using sweeteners to sweeten your coffee, tea, and also cereals.

Also, ensure that you significantly reduce your alcohol intake. If you take alcohol, you should remember that it adds to calories but adds no nutritional value. In addition to this, alcohol brings with it some health issues for you.
