A therapist will have to help with this over some time. Depression and anxiety may also set in. The practical method of setting up a routine can also be helpful because this will keep one on track.

A look at the creative process should also be included in the routine because it will help one to stay focused. Starting the day with something like drawing or painting will help the person with ADHD stay on track. This is particularly good for someone who is battling with various emotions, such as depression or anxiety. They will start the day feeling refreshed and less stressed. Exercise is also a good thing at this time because one will release some of the energy.
