According to the Bible, the woman is an important member of society. She is a wife. She is also a mother. It is hard to imagine a world without women. Such a world will simply be a very dark place. A healthy woman translates to a healthy church and that results to a healthy society. Christian women need to be mindful about their spiritual health. In addition, they should not ignore their physical health. That is the reason why they need a Christian women fitness program. This kind of program approaches the issue of health and wellness from a holistic standpoint.

Above all, a Christian should be concerned about her spiritual health. That is due to the fact that the soul is at the center of human existence. When the spirit leaves the body, a person will die. As a matter of fact, the spirit is the source of life. That is a reality that no believer should surely deny.

Definitely, a fit believer will be able to do a lot. She will easily move from one place to another while spreading the gospel. She will not be sick easily and as a result she will do more spiritual matters. However, pursuing righteousness should come before everything. Seek ye first righteousness and everything else will come, so says the Bible.

Scripture also tells believers to be mindful about the state of their bodies. A true believer cares about her health and wellness. Therefore, she will not let her body to be unfit because that can interfere with her quest for the things above which are unseen and are the most important. Time can be wasted treating easily preventable disease.

As a matter of fact, fitness starts with losing weight. If one is overweight, she is at a higher risk of contracting lifestyle diseases such as heart disease, cancer, and diabetes. As a matter of fact, heart disease is the leading cause of preventable death in the United States of America. That is also the case in other countries.

The overweight condition affects more women than men. Billions of women around the world are overweight. That is due to the present day sedentary lifestyle. In the past, people used to be very active. That is no longer the case because human beings no longer plough the fields. They work in office jobs after which they enjoy entertainment sitting down.

A fitness program will keep an individual active. She will exercise a number of times in a week. On one hand, there are aerobic exercises. On the other hand, there are weight lifting exercises. All these are needed so that to make the body to be fit. Diet also has an important role to play. One should eat healthy foods.

A vital part of being a Christian is leading a moral life. That is what will make it possible to enjoy a good life on earth and to have an amazing after life in heaven. On top of exercising the highest level of morality, a believer should also keep his body in the right state so that to avoid an early death.
